Colorise Art Installation

Colorise

Colorise is an art installation created for the fountain of a shopping centre. Twelve transparent plexiglass posts of varied heights and colours form a unified sculptural rhythm. The posts were made by bonding pre-cut plexiglass panels with acrylic cement to achieve clean edges without visible glue marks. Each post rests on a concrete base placed within the shallow water. Daylight and moving water pass through the coloured surfaces and create changing reflections. Visitors experience the shifting colours simply by walking around the fountain.

Coralarc Installation Art

Coralarc

Coralarc utilizes algorithms to simulate the rules of pushing, and growing among cells. After dynamic stacking along the time axis, it gradually forms an organic curved surface. The work utilizes transparent materials to express the beautiful changing form and pure luster of undersea corals, while its colors are the coexistences of the people interacting with the lights, as well as the scenery on the beautiful bay. Through the properties of material, it echoes the endless coastline and sky when the viewer looks out at the sea, and shows different appearances in different periods.

Superegg Sculpture Installation

Superegg

Superegg represents the rapid multiplying of single use coffee capsules, which symbolises human convenience and its impact on the environment. Appearing levitated above ground, the textured geometric superegg shape, as documented by mathematician Gabriel Lame, is dotted with random discarded coffee capsules arranged into perfect lines. The visceral experience engages the viewer from all angles and distances. Over 3000 capsules were collected via a call to action on social media and the local community. Flow With The Sprit Of Water Public Art

Flow With The Sprit Of Water

Often community environments are polluted by the inter- and intra-personal dissonances of their inhabitants which results in visible and invisible chaos in the surroundings. The unconscious effect of this disorder is that inhabitants regress into restlessness. This habitual and cyclical agitation influences the body, mind, and spirit. The sculptures guide, groom, purify, and strengthen the positive "chi" of a space, focusing on pleasant and peaceful outcomes. With a subtle shift in their environment, the public is guided towards a balance between their inner and external realities.
