Dreamscape
Dreamscape is a multimedia installation placed in the Bohemian Garden of K11 Musea in Hong Kong. The sculptural form appears to float above the ground and releases mist at regular intervals. From a distance, Dreamscape looks like an illuminated white shell rising from a cloud. Up close, three arches rest on six slender feet that touch the ground lightly. Inside, more than 250 illuminated bubble lamps follow a timed lighting programme. The materials are weatherproof, durable and light, and the structure can be taken apart for transport and reassembly.
Dreamscape Multimedia Installation by Nelson Chow has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Dreamscape Multimedia Installation earned the Iron A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2022. The A' Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that rewards exceptional design of sculptures, paintings, installations, photographs, drawings, mixed media works, ceramics, art objects, craftworks and more.
