Yu-ngok Lo, Aia, Leed Ap Exhibits The Grille Barbeque Restaurant

Yu-Ngok Lo, AIA, LEED AP, the architect of the awarded work Yu-Ngok Lo, AIA, LEED AP's Grille Barbeque Restaurant points out, The project turned an existing rundown motorcycle repair shop located in the northern part of Macau into a brand new artisan Barbeque Bistro. The biggest challenge of the project is to satisfy the client’s aggressive programmatic need in such a small space with a very tight budge. The design progress began with figuring a way to fit 40 seats in the 44 m2 dining area. A total construction budget of HK$320,000 was set at the beginning of the project. Our solution was to maintain the industrial aspect of the space by minimally finished the walls and ceiling with a “raw and unfinished” texture..
